Reblogged this on The Bone Marrow Foundation and commented:
We’ve posted quite a few of her articles and blog posts, but today at 4:00PM (Eastern Time), New York Times columnist and recent bone marrow transplant patient Suleika Jaouad will host a Facebook conversation about being a young adult with cancer.
Loved reading both the questions & answers in the Facebook chat Thursday, thanks for your willingness to share and for covering such a wide variety of topics that otherwise go mostly unmentioned. It is so interesting to see how young adults, who have grown up with a technology-infused society, are taking to this medium when it comes to their chronic illnesses. Thanks again!
I think you are a very brave and committed individual to share your fight to overcome a horrible disease. I am moved by your efforts and I know you are a positive role model for others. Best Wishes and respect. Hamilton Meadows
